Hello all:
Well.... SURPRISE! Whiteface is opening tomorrow (Friday) and planning to stay open for the weekend. Here are some details for the weekend's activities......
Details for dryland this weekend 11/16:
- When: Saturday, November 16, 2013 from 9:00am – 11:00am
- Where: Northwood School Gymnasium (meet in front of school or go directly to gym)
- Who: Any NYSEF enrolled athlete (U10 and older) in any discipline
- What: We will split into two groups this weekend:
- U16 and older – ski specific workout for older athletes
- U14 and younger – warm-up, game, agility/core
- Also if you / your child haven’t attended yet, please have the attached waiver filled out and signed. THANK YOU!!! Please RSVP to let us know if you’ll attend.
Skiing/riding this weekend:
- NYSEF Building: the building will be open for lift ticket pick-up ONLY – it is NOT available for changing/locker space. Please use the main lodge. NYSEF hours are:
- Tomorrow (Friday) 8:30 am – 4:00 pm for ticket pick-up only – normal business hours.
- Saturday and Sunday, the office/front desk will be open from 8:00 am – 1:00 pm for ticket pick-up only.
- Tickets/passes: Whiteface/NYSEF is installing a new ticket system which is not fully functional. You will NOT be able to pick up your season’s pass, day tickets will be made available to our membership.
- ONLY THOSE WHO HAVE ENROLLED AND PAID FOR THE PROGRAM WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR TICKETS!!! If you have not gotten your enrollment forms in, do not plan to get a ticket from us!
- This will likely be the same procedure for the following weekend (November 22-24) should temps remain cold and the mountain is able to stay open.
